Experience one of the largest instruments for voice sound, music and audio storytelling - The VoiceLine by multi-award-winning Somerset House artist Nick Ryan. This sound installation celebrates the site’s unique history as one of the birthplaces of global radio via 2LO at Marconi House and BBC World Service at Bush House, along with the 2022 BBC centenary celebration. The VoiceLine forms an immersive soundscape across the new Strand public space, fusing the BBC audio archive and bespoke commissions. Come and listen!
